Parazo and Snow filed reports with Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County election officials covering campaign activity up through Sept. 30. The reports were due Oct. 5. In the 2004 election, which drew nine candidates, nearly $585,000 was raised and more than $653,000 was spent.

In that election, incumbent Dr. Abdallah Farrukh was re-elected along with former hospital director Dr. John Manning and nurse practitioner Berna Mayer.

Parazo's contributors this campaign include the law offices of R. Rex Parris, $1,000; Charles Lim, a medical corporation, $500; Edgardo Barcelona, a medical corporation, $500; and Heritage Provider Network senior financial analyst Than Than Aye, $300. Parazo has spent $21,810 on campaign paraphernalia PARAPHERNALIA. The name given to all such things as a woman has a right to retain as her own property, after her husband's death; they consist generally of her clothing, jewels, and ornaments suitable to her condition, which she used personally during his life. , candidate ballot or filing fees, campaign consultants, and campaign literature and mailings.
