Abraham was hired in December 1998, as an interim administrator to replace former Chief Executive Officer Bob Harenski. The board hired Abraham as the hospital's permanent CEO in February 1999. Under his four-year contract, Abraham is paid a base salary of $275,000, plus 7.6 percent in deferred compensation for overseeing administration of the 358-bed hospital. He receives the same life, disability and health insurance options as other hospital employees. He gets five weeks' vacation and 12 sick days. The seats of Fox, Deborah Rice and Larry Chimbole are up for election in November. Chimbole is not seeking re-election. |
