HONEYWELL TAPS GENERAL SIGNAL FOR WORLDWIDE FIRE DETECTION SYSTEMS.


MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 1995-- Honeywell In 1927, the Minneapolis Honeywell Regulator Company was formed as a merger of Alfred Butz' temperature control company (1885) and Mark Honeywell's water heater company (1906). In 1957, Honeywell, along with Ratheon, introduced one of the first computers in the U.S., the Datamatic 1000.  Home and Building Control announced today it has signed a contract with General Signal Corporation's GS Building Systems Corp. for a line of Honeywell exclusive differentiated, private-label fire detection systems for the company's building systems customers.

The systems, to be developed by General Signal's Edwards Systems Technology (EST EST electroshock therapy.
