HONEYWELL PROMOTES SALEH TO VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTOR RELATIONS AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

 MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell Inc. (NYSE: HON) today said it promoted Paul N. Saleh to vice president, investor relations and financial analysis.
 Saleh will be responsible for the company's relationship with the financial community and for financial analysis of related special projects.
 Saleh currently is director of investor relations. In this expanded position, which is effective immediately, he will continue to report to Bill Trubeck, recently named chief financial officer of Honeywell. "Paul Saleh has made a valuable contribution to our investor relations function by helping executive management effectively represent the company's strategic business goals and financial objectives to the investment community worldwide," Trubeck said. "We believe the company will benefit from Paul's leadership skills and financial knowledge and expertise as he assumes this expanded role."
 Saleh was recently named by Institutional Investor as one of the top investor relations professionals in the country.
 Saleh joined Honeywell in 1985 as manager of corporate planning. Since then, he has held a variety of financial positions for the company. Prior to his assignment as director of investor relations, he served as director of treasury operations.
 Saleh earned a master's degree in business administration with distinction in finance, a master's degree in computer, information and control engineering, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
