HONEYWELL NAMES SANDERS VICE PRESIDENT, INFORMATION SYSTEMS

 MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) has named Bill Sanders vice president, information systems. Sanders previously was vice president, logistics and information systems for the company's European operations, based in Brussels, Belgium. He reports to Carl Vignali, senior vice president, operations. His appointment was effective Oct. 15.
 In his new position, Sanders is responsible for the company's information management function, including planning and implementing systems technology and applications, computer operations and support services, and telecommunications.
 Sanders joined Honeywell in 1992 as director, European information systems, and was promoted to vice president, European information systems, in April. In August, his responsibilities expanded to include logistics.
 Before joining Honeywell, Sanders worked at Inland Steel Co. in Chicago, where he held a number of key management positions over a 23-year career. When he left, he was general manager, operations planning, responsible for integrated operating plans, steel inventory management and customer delivery performance.
 Sanders received his bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colo. He also participated in Harvard University's Advanced Management Program.
