Boys: Kyron Wilkerson, North Hollywood

What he did: Led the Huskies to two victories with 34 points, nine rebounds and five assists against El Camino Real El Camino Real (Spanish for The Royal Road or The King's Highway) was the name of a series of pre-automobile highways linking the various New World colonies of Spain:

 on Wednesday and 30 points and seven rebounds Friday against Monroe.

The scoop: Wilkerson is the Huskies' top scorer and has improved his perimeter shooting since last year. He isn't the biggest player around (6-4, 155 pounds), but he has the ability to shoot off the dribble and drive to the basket.

Comment: ``He's always been a good shooter, but he's gotten even better this year,'' said Huskies coach Rob Bloom Rob Bloom is an American comedy writer and screenwriter. He has written for the Cartoon Network, McSweeney's, CRACKED, Fresh Yarn, Funny Times, National Public Radio, American Public Media, among others. . ``What he's done differently is go to the basket more, which draws a lot of fouls.''

Girls: Nakeisha Perkins, Grant

What she did: The senior center had a combined 40 points and 32 rebounds in victories over North Hollywood and Monroe. She scored 20, including 12 in the third quarter, and had 18 rebounds as the Lancers lanc·er
