HOLOGIC AND OLDELFT ANNOUNCE THE TERMINATION OF AN INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION INVESTIGATION AND THE DISMISSAL OF A PATENT INFRINGEMENT SUIT
 NEW YORK, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hologic, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLX) and Oldelft Corporation of America, BV Optische Industrie De Oude Delft, and Delft Instruments Medical Imaging BV today announced the termination of an International Trade Commission Investigation and the dismissal of a patent infringement suit pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, pursuant to a Settlement Agreement.
 The parties have agreed to await the outcome of the interference case relating to equalization radiography systems now pending before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and reconsider their respective patent position based on the outcome of this case. Endusers in the United States of AMBER and CER 20/20 systems purchased within the next two years and prior to the termination of the interference shall be free from any claim of infringement by either party.
