 GRAND CIRCLE SOUTH AMERICA CRUISE ON SS ROTTERDAM
 SEATTLE, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Holland America Line is offering three segments of its Fall 1992 Grand Circle South America Cruise for travelers unable to indulge in the full 47/49-day cruise.
 The segments include:
 -- The 12-day Americas Cruise from Los Angeles to Callao/Lima, Peru, with port calls at Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa and Acapulco, Mexico, and Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica. Fly/cruise fares start at $2,060 per person, double occupancy.
 -- The 21-day Magellan Passage Cruise from Callao/Lima to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with port calls at Iquique, Valparaiso, Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas, Chile; Stanley, Falkland Islands; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Parangua, Brazil. Fly/cruise fares start at $4,490 per person, double occupancy.
 -- The 14/16-day Brazil & Caribbean Cruise from Rio de Janeiro to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., or Norfolk, Va., with port calls at Recife, Brazil; Devil's Island, French Guiana; La Guaira/Caracas, Venezuela; and Willemstad, Curacao. Fly/cruise fares start at $2,990 per person, double occupancy to Ft. Lauderdale; $3,090 per person, double occupancy to Norfolk.
 Optional pre- or post-cruise packages are available in Los Angeles, Callao/Lima, Rio de Janeiro and Ft. Lauderdale.
 All Grand Circle South America Cruise segments feature free round- trip air transportation from most major U.S. gateway cities and transfers to and from the ship.
 Travelers still may opt to take the full Grand Circle South America cruise. The cruise departs Los Angeles on Oct. 16. Fares start at $8,065 per person, double occupancy, for the 47-day cruise to Ft. Lauderdale; $8,165 per person, double occupancy, for the 49-day cruise to Norfolk.
 Holland America cruises offer a "Tradition of Excellence," including spacious staterooms, superb dining, gracious Indonesian/Filipino service, casino, first-rate entertainment, the free "Passport to Fitness" activity program, and complete fitness center, coupled with popular "tipping not required" and "cashless" ship policies.
