Fire up the television this morning - literally - with KCAL's yule log. A host of other seasonal treats is available on many channels.

``Yule Log'' (6 a.m., KCAL, Channel 9) Three hours of smokeless crackling wood and Christmas music simulcast commercial-free from KOST-FM. No stoking necessary.

``Jingle All the Way'' (6 a.m., FX) The not-so-funny Christmas comedy about a dad's desperate pursuit of a hot holiday toy plays seven - count 'em, seven - times today, reaffirming star Arnold Schwarzenegger's career change.

Family Marathon (7 a.m., Showtime) Showtime devotes its channel today to family-friendly movies, beginning with ``Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams'' and wrapping up at 8 p.m. with the edgier ``The School of Rock.''

``The Muppet Christmas Carol'' (noon, ABC Family) Michael Caine is Scrooge surrounded by Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest.
