HOLIDAY STORE AT KNOLLS ELEMENTARY NO SECRET : GIFTS FOR FAMILY, FRIENDS TO COST UP TO $10.

Knolls Elementary School elementary school: see school.  will be holding a Holiday Secret Store from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. through Wednesday. Students will have the opportunity to buy gifts, ranging from 10 cents to $10, for family and friends. Volunteers are on hand to help students budget their money.

An awards assembly will be held Friday for Knolls students, recognizing their achievements during the past quarter. The upper grades assembly will be at 8:15 a.m. followed by a program for the primary grades at 10:15 a.m.

Santa Claus
 will visit Santa Susana Elementary School for a holiday breakfast Wednesday. All students may join Santa in the cafeteria.

The Starlab Planetarium planetarium, optical device used to project a representation of the heavens onto a domed ceiling; the term also designates the building that houses such a device. A modern planetarium consists of as many as 150 motor-driven projectors mounted on an axis.  will be in the cafeteria Dec. 18-19, with assemblies for all students. This program allows students to sit in the desert at night and view the skies over the United States without leaving the school grounds.

Royal High School reminds students and the community that it will be continuing its food drive to benefit Care and Share through Dec. 19. Collection boxes are located in each classroom for nonperishable foods and personal hygiene supplies.

The fourth-period class with the most generous donations will receive a pizza party, and the teacher will receive dinner for two from a local restaurant.

Atherwood PTA PTA or parent-teacher association: see parent education.  will meet at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Crestview PTA would like to thank the students and the community for helping to make its recent fund-raiser (wrapping paper and small gift items) such a huge success. The proceeds will benefit PTA programs and events for the entire student body.

The next parent seminar for the Simi Valley PTA Council will be at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 15. The topic will be technology in local schools. The program will be held in the Santa Susana High School Santa Susana High School is the third high school located in Simi Valley. The school campus is a middle school that was converted. The school colors are: silver, black, white, and teal. The school mascot is the Troubador. They are a school of the arts.  multipurpose mul·ti·pur·pose
