 Jean Shepherd's book, ``In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash,'' the 1983 movie has become a December staple in television reruns, giving a nostalgic look into 1940s middle-class American life through Ralphie Parker and his schemes to get a BB gun.

The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 7, and 8 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9 at the Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. E.

Tickets are $12 for adults; $10 for seniors, students, military; and $8 for children 12 and younger. Family Night is Nov. 30, and tickets will be discounted to $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, military, students and children age 12 and younger.
