 HOGAN SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL ANDERSON AS
 PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
 DALLAS, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Hogan Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: HOGN) announced today that Michael H. Anderson has been named president, chief executive officer and a director of the company.
 Anderson joins Hogan Systems from NEC Technologies in Boxborough, Mass., where he served as executive vice president. Previously, Anderson was president of Nixdorf Computer Corp. in Burlington, Mass., for seven years, where he was responsible for all North American activities. His additional experience includes various positions over a 16-year period with IBM Corporation, where he last served as developer of strategy evaluation in Armonk, N.Y. He received his B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Lowell Technological Institute.
 Anderson replaces Gregor G. Peterson, who will assume the position of vice chairman of Hogan Systems. Peterson is one of the founders of Hogan Systems and has served on the board of directors since the company's inception in 1977. William O. Hunt will continue as chairman of the board, a position he has held since August 1990.
