 HOECHST CELANESE RAISING PRICE OF HIGH-MODULUS,
 LOW-SHRINKAGE POLYESTER YARNS
 CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoechst Celanese Technical Fibers' Tire and Mechanical Rubber Goods Business Unit today announced a price increase of 4 cents per pound on its high-modulus, low-shrinkage (HMLS polyester yarns effective May 1, 1992.
 The price increase is in response to a tight-supply situation resulting from high demand for HMLS, or dimensionally stabilized, polyester yarns in tire and mechanical rubber goods markets.
 Hoechst Celanese, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoechst AG of Germany, has leading positions in fibers, chemicals, advance materials and technologies and the life sciences.
