CATEGORIES: K-5; 6-8; 9-12 DEADLINE: May 1, 2005 HOW IT WORKS: Before April 1, teachers can sign up to receive a free HOBO data logger data logger - data logging loaner kit. Classrooms then use the kit to investigate energy use and submit their results to the contest. Projects that show the greatest number of examples of energy waste, most energy savings, and most overall effort will be awarded. PRIZES: Winners in each category will receive classroom data-logger sets (valued at $1000). All entrants receive the chance to win a data logger for their classroom.
