HOBLink JWT is a Java-based Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client which provides platform-independent remote access to applications centrally installed on Windows Terminal Servers (WTS). With the new HOBLink JWT version 3.3 client, enterprise organizations can leverage all the advantages of server-based computing for Windows, Unix and Mac OS X applications. From an IT management perspective, HOBLink JWT allows users to conveniently and securely access centralized applications and data from any client independent of its operating system (Apple Mac OS X, UNIX/Linux, Microsoft, etc.).

Installed on a Web server, HOBLink JWT is preconfigured to provide fast, reliable access to the user. No local installation or administrative rights on the client machine are required. Alternatively, it can be installed on local machines as well and moreover, it is a perfect add-on to existing SSL VPN infrastructures since it can be used in conjunction with any SSL VPN device. Besides the classical access to Windows Terminal Servers, HOBLink JWT also allows access to applications on Linux/Unix and Apple Mac OS X platforms with the additional solution gateways -- HOB X11Gate and HOB MacGate.
