HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: C.V.'S FOOTBALL COACH RESIGNS EBERHART LED FALCONS TO FIVE LEAGUE TITLES.

Alan Eberhart, one of the winningest coaches in the history of the Crescenta Valley The Crescenta Valley is a small inland valley in Los Angeles County, California. Its name derives from its crescent-like shape, with the convex portion facing roughly northeast and the concave portion southwest.  High of La Crescenta football program, resigned Friday from his duties six games into his 14th season with the Falcons.

Linda Evans (born Linda Evanstad on November 18, 1942 in Hartford, Connecticut) is a Golden Globe-winning American actress known primarily for her roles on soap operas
 and other administrators less than 24 hours after a 59-10 Pacific League loss to Burroughs of Burbank.

``We don't have the personnel right now,'' Eberhart said following the loss, finishing his career with an 89-58-1 record and five league titles. ``They're a lot better football team than us.''

Allegations of an incident following Thursday's game involving Eberhart and Falcons spectators is being investigated. Eberhart, who also coached girls' basketball and softball softball, variant of baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. Invented (1888) in Chicago as an indoor game, it was at various times called indoor baseball, mush ball, playground ball, kitten ball, and, because it was also played by women, ladies'  at Crescenta Valley, couldn't be reached for comment.

 Falcons assistants Bill Irace and Gordy Warnock will assume the role of interim head coaches for the remainder of the football season.

Eberhart, who will remain on staff as a history teacher, led the Falcons to a share of their last league title in 2004.

His son Eric, a senior receiver/running back/defensive back, will remain on the team.
