HI-TEC ADVENTURE RUN TO TEST SURVIVAL TECHNIQUES AT NIGHT.Byline: Daily News The Hi-Tec Adventure Racing Series National Championships return next week to Castaic Lake Castaic Lake is a lake on Castaic Creek formed by Castaic Dam, in northwestern Los Angeles County, California, near the town of Castaic. Teams of three will compete together in the adventure sprint race a foot race at the highest running speed; - usually limited to distances under a quarter of a mile.
