This weekend, Herta returns to Michigan International Speedway Michigan International Speedway is a two-mile (3.22 km), moderate-banked, D shaped superspeedway located off U.S. Highway 12 on more than 1,400 acres [1] near Brooklyn, in the scenic Irish Hills area of southeastern Michigan. , site of Sunday's Indy Racing League The Indy Racing League, better known as IRL, is the sanctioning body of a predominantly American based open-wheel racing series.

The League consists of two series, the premiere IndyCar Series

``It seems like such a long time ago that the XM Satellite Radio team was in victory lane at Michigan,'' said Herta, a Hart High of Newhall graduate. ``Obviously we have our setup data from last year and we had a great car there, so we're looking forward to the race.''

Herta has gone 16 races since winning at Michigan. His Andretti Green Racing teammates went winless in the first nine races of the 2006 season.

Tony Kanaan Antoine Rizkallah Kanaan Filho (born December 31, 1974) is a Brazilian race car driver of Lebanese Christian heritage from Salvador, Brazil. Kanaan is an IndyCar driver who holds the unique distinction of being the only driver in the long and storied history of the Indianapolis  snapped the Andretti Green winless streak at The Milwaukee Mile last Sunday.

Herta would like to extend the winning streak to two races.

``Andretti Green Racing had a very good race in Milwaukee and we got a win for Tony,'' Herta said, ``but there are still three guys on this team who want to win this year and we're going to Michigan in search of our first win.''

Herta's best finish this year came at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in Florida, where he was fourth. He was seventh in the race at The Milwaukee Mile.

Kanaan's win at Milwaukee was the seventh of his career.

``Winning last week at Milwaukee was very nice,'' said Kanaan, the 2004 IRL champion. ``We knew we could still do it and we did. But now we have to move on and get ready for Michigan.''

His track record at Gateway is pretty good.

Hornaday has two top-five and three top-10 finishes at Gateway in four races in the Busch Series.

``I've just really adapted well to Gateway since the first time I raced there,'' said Hornaday, a former Saugus Speedway champ from Palmdale. ``It's a unique track with two completely different sets of corners. I think my driving style suits a place like Gateway.''

But he is coming off a 24th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia.

Hornaday also drives for Kevin Harvick's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team. He he has won two Truck Series races and is sixth in points. The Truck Series returns to racing next weekend, when Hornaday is expected to race in both the Trucks and Busch Series at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

``It's always good to get as much seat time as you can at each track we go to,'' Hornaday said. ``The truck drives a little different than the Busch car, so there won't be any direct translation in the setups, but it will be nice to have all those extra laps there.''
