HELP for Bankers Offering Brokerage.


Helper is a new software program that provides personal productivity, marketing and management tools for bankers who are either getting into the brokerage business or Looking to improve their effectiveness.

The producer, North American Software of Cincinnati, offers the program on a CD-ROM that can be deployed either standalone on a desktop, in Intranet or Internet browser mode, or in combination. The company says the program can also be used with a notebook computer or a cellular phone.

Helper offers four modules: Sates Professional's Helper, Broker's Helper, Broker's Helper Advanced and Investment Advisor's Helper. At the top level, the program offers target marketing and contact management, interactivity, portfolio management, global reporting, AIMR compliance, time-weighted performance analysis for individual accounts or groups of accounts, portfolio modeling and more. The company says the product is ideal for a combined retail and managed account practice.

"With a notebook and cellular phone, for the first time ever, you can literally take your entire business support system with you anywhere," says the company literature.
