HEICO's MediTek subsidiary announces eleventh imaging center.
The new center, Palms of Pasadena MRI, operates a high field strength Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system as an out-patient imaging center on the hospital's campus.
Laurans A. Mendelson, HEICO's chairman, president and chief executive officer commented that: "Palms of Pasadena MRI is another step in our successful fulfillment of HEICO's and MediTek's growth plans. At its formation in late 1991, MediTek, which is based in Miami, Fla., operated only one imaging center. Today, MediTek operates 11 imaging centers in three states and is planning continued expansion."
Palms of Pasadena Hospital is owned and operated by Tenet Healthcare Corp., formerly National Medical Enterprises, the nation's second largest hospital company.
HEICO Corp. is engaged in the aerospace industry through its HEICO Aerospace Corp. subsidiary and the healthcare industry through its MediTek Health Corp. subsidiary.
