 HEATH PETRA RESOURCES ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF FUTURES TRADER
 HOUSTON, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Heath Petra Resources, Inc. (the "Company"), a privately held company, announced today the addition of Dunham L. Cobb. Cobb has joined the Houston office as in-house hedge specialist, supporting the Company's natural gas marketing activities and programs.
 Cobb comes from the Energy Group of Prudential Securities in Houston, where he provided hedging and trading advice to producer, trading and marketing companies.
 The Company markets natural gas to small and mid-sized industrial end users and local distribution companies. The Company also represents numerous municipalities, as buying agent in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Virginia. The Company markets approximately 150,000 Mcf of natural gas per day.
 Heath Petra Resources, Inc., is a North Carolina based independent gas marketing company with offices in Charlotte, N.C.; Atlanta, Ga.; Owensboro, Ky.; and Houston. American National Petroleum Company (NASDAQ: ANPC) owns a 50 percent interest in Heath Petra Resources, Inc.
