HEARING SCHEDULED IN CHILD TORTURE.

BURBANK - A 12-year-old Burbank girl's parents face a preliminary hearing Feb. 22 after pleading not guilty Thursday to charges of torturing and enslaving the child.

Erlinda Reyes Allan, 37, and Marcus Allan Marcus "Clanger" Allan (born May 23, 1986) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.

He was recruited by Brisbane thrοugh the 2005 Rοοkie Draft, frοm the Northern Eagles AFC in Zillmere, Queensland.

He said the girl looks much younger than 12 because she apparently has been fed only table scraps for years and stunted in growth.

Authorities said the Allans initially claimed the girl had been sent back to the Philippines more than two years ago but eventually admitted she had just been trained by them to flee the house and hide outside when the police came to the door.
