 beats created by masters of human beatboxing Beatboxing is the art of vocal percussion. Although the term beatboxing derived from hip hop culture, it is not limited to hip hop music. It is primarily concerned with the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, voice, and , including former Roots member, Rahzel.

Vocal collaborators include Mike Patton of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, Inuit throat singer Tagaq and the Icelandic Choir.

Trent Dabbs: ``Quite Often'' (Terminus) The Nashville-based singer- songwriter makes his debut with this 10-track set produced by Clay Jones and Dennis Herring, the latter of whom is known for his work with Modest Mouse, Counting Crows and Elvis Costello.

Lamb of God Lamb of God: see Agnus Dei. : ``Ashes of the Wake'' (Epic) The follow-up to the independently released ``As the Palaces Burn'' includes guest appearances by Megadeth's Chris Poland and Testament's Alex Skolnick.

The Libertines: ``The Libertines'' (Rough Trade) The second album by the London rock quartet includes the single ``Can't Stand Me Now.''
