Avril Lavigne returns with ``Under My Skin,'' her sophomore release for Arista/RCA Records.

The dozen songs on the teen rocker's new album were co-written with former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody, Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk and Evan Taubenfield, who plays guitar in Lavigne's band.

Here's a sample of the more than 370 new records and reissues arriving in stores today:

The Cardigans: ``Long Gone Before Daylight'' (Koch) Nina Persson and her Swedish band of rockers offer up their fifth album to date, featuring the single ``For What It's Worth.''

Everlast: ``White Trash Beautiful'' (Island Def Jam) The blues-rap artist's fourth solo album will be his first on this label following the collapse of Tommy Boy Records, on which he released ``Eat at Whitey's'' in 2000.

Renee Olstead: ``Renee Olstead'' (Warner Bros.) The co-star of CBS' ``Still Standing'' releases this set of jazz standards and new songs composed by David Foster, who produced the album with Humberto Gatica. Guests include Chris Botti, Carol Welsman and Peter Cincotti.

Wilson Phillips: ``California'' (Columbia) The group's first record since 1992 is a collection of covers that pay homage to the music the trio grew up listening to.

Skinny Puppy: ``Greater Wrong of the Right'' (SPV) The industrial-rock pioneers reunite for their first release since 1996's ``The Process.'' Guests include Tool drummer Danny Carey and Static-X frontman Wayne Static.
