 Healthy Births Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 19 at Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. For entertainment, there will be a maternity-fashion show with expectant mothers, baby shower A baby shower is a party in which expectant parents receive gifts for their expected or born child. By convention, a baby shower is intended to help parents get items that they need for their baby, such as baby clothes.  games and prizes, free baby gifts, facials and other pampering activities. Fathers are encouraged to attend, organizers said.

The event is presented by the Antelope Valley Best Babies Collaborative (AVBBC) and the Antelope Valley Children's Planning Council.

Child care and Spanish translations will offered, along with transportation to the event if reservations are made in advance.

The Antelope Valley Children's Planning Council's Good Health work group offers health fairs every three months to improve community access to health care.

The Healthy Births Fair is supported by donations from sponsors including Rite Aid, Antelope Valley Hospital and Mary Kay.

Fair organizers are also accepting monetary donations and donations of products relevant to pregnant women and young children, such as diapers, clothes, car seats and strollers.
