HEALTHCARE REFORM BINDER SERVICE ANNOUNCED BY FROST & SULLIVAN

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- As of Nov. 8, 1993, Frost & Sullivan will be offering its clients a bi-monthly binder service providing vital information on how the new proposed healthcare reform package, presented to Congress last week by President Bill Clinton, will affect medical manufacturers' business.
This new binder service, called: HEALTHCARE REFORM: IMPACT ON BUSINESS 1994-2000, will focus on strategies for a medical company to survive in this changing and evolving healthcare environment. The medical manufacturing industries that the service will focus on are: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic imaging, and medical devices.
The service will begin with a 50-page analysis and overview of the healthcare reform package, and its impact on medical markets and the manufacturers in these markets. Then, every other month, subscribers will receive a 50-plus page update, with an up-to-the-minute-analysis of how the proposed healthcare reform package is progressing, how market forecasts are changing and how companies' profits will be affected.
"Some companies may see this reform as a threat to their business, while in reality it may provide opportunities of which they are not yet aware," stated Frost & Sullivan's Director of Medical Research Reuhma Nigam. Nigam continued, "We have been continually monitoring the healthcare industry for over 30 years and following the progress of the proposed healthcare reform package since its inception, and now feel that we are ready to provide our clients with an assessment of how their future could be changed by this program. Our analyses will help them capitalize on the evolving healthcare environment."
