HEALTH CLINIC TO OFFER SERVICES FOR WOMEN.

Free cancer screenings for women are among the services that will be highlighted through October and November at the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center in observance of Women's Health Women's Health Definition

Women's Health Month is designed to call attention to breast and cervical cancers. Aside from screenings, the clinic will offer instructional material for monthly breast self-exams, de la Flor said.

``The purpose of this promotion is to alert women to address their special medical needs,'' she said. ``I think historically women have taken care of the whole family, but they don't take care of themselves.''

The Dixon health center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
