STARS FIGHT CANCER: Skin care expert Sonya Dakar rallied some famous friends during Oscar season to autograph tubes of her Sonya Dakar 365 SPF 30 for an eBay auction benefiting the fight against skin cancer. Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna all signed their names knowing proceeds would go to CancerCare, a national nonprofit providing free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer. CANCER BENEFIT: The Roy and Patricia Disney Cancer Center will host its first annual fundraiser to benefit the center scheduled to break ground this fall. The state-of-the-art center will focus on treatment that incorporates both Western and Eastern medicine. Meet key physicians as you drink fine wine and nibble tapas. The event takes place 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Eight-18 Tapas Restaurant, 10151 Riverside Drive, Toluca Lake. TESTOSTERONE STUDY: Men 60 years or older with abdominal obesity are invited to participate in a USC study of testosterone replacement therapy and body fat. The study will determine whether heart attacks and stroke can be reduced with treatment. Participants must have a belt size of 40 inches or more and must be willing to take an FDA-approved form of testosterone for 20 weeks. Participants will receive free physicals and prostate exams, bone and MRI scans and tests for diabetes and cholesterol. For information, call the USC study coordinator at [phone].

RUN 13 MILES: Get your legs ready to run the hilly mountains of Mulholland at the Valley Crest Half Marathon on Sunday in Tarzana. The run goes from 8 a.m. to noon at Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park, at the south end of Reseda Boulevard where it meets the Mulholland fire road. Registration is $60.
