HCPro Inc. acquires EPSCO's nurse aide training materials.


Following its management-led buyout Buyout

The principals involved are Jessica and Robert Terrill of EPSCO and Bruce Bruce, Scottish royal family descended from an 11th-century Norman duke, Robert de Brus. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of HCPro. EPSCO was represented in the the transaction by Whitestone Communications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Marblehead, Mass.-based HCPro is a leading provider of integrated information, education and consulting products and services in the areas of healthcare regulation and compliance.

Guzowski said, "Acquiring EPSCO's outstanding publications allows HCPro to expand into the nursing assistant training market and offer more resources for staff trainers. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our aggressive growth objectives for the healthcare training market."

The primary title published by EPSCO is Program Plans, Nursing Basic Series, a monthly newsletter founded in 1979 and a recognized leader in the industry.

Melanie Roberts, currently the editor of several of HCPro's monthly and weekly newsletters, has been named editor.
