Playing in the final group, which had been taken off the course due to rain with the intention of having scores averaged out, Sandnes wound up with an assessed 49, leaving her team tied for the tournament lead with league leader Valencia.

Hart coach Rene Onori thought Sandnes could do better, and Sandnes agreed. With approval of the other coaches, Sandnes went back to battle the weather and some serious pressure and beat both, winding up with a 46 to give Hart the team title in the fourth league tournament.

With one match remaining, Valencia holds first with 19.5 points, followed by Saugus (18.5), Hart (18) and Burbank (16) in scoring awarded on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis per tournament.
