HART DISTRICT SETS GRADUATION DATES.

SANTA CLARITA - More than 2,000 seniors will be graduating in June from the Hart High School District, which has announced the dates for commencement exercises.

Graduations will take place at each of the four comprehensive high schools, as well as at Bowman Continuation High School and Learning Post Independent Study. Promotional ceremonies also will take place at the four junior highs and at Golden Oak Adult School.

``More than likely it will be 2,000-plus students,'' said Teresa Todd, spokeswoman for the William S. Hart Union High School District. ``They've looked forward to it for four years.''

At 7:30 p.m. on June 14, Canyon High students will graduate in their campus stadium, while Saugus High seniors will hold a ceremony at the College of the Canyons stadium.

The college stadium also will be the site of 7:30 p.m. ceremonies for Valencia and Hart High schools. Valencia seniors will graduate on June 13; Hart on June 15.

Learning Post students will graduate at 6:30 p.m. on June 12 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Valencia Stake. Bowman will have an on-campus graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on June 13.

Following is the calendar for the local junior highs, some of which will hold their ceremonies in groups:

--Arroyo Seco - 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., and 12:30, 3 and 5 p.m. on June 13 in the College of the Canyons gym.

--La Mesa - 8 and 10:30 a.m., and 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on June 13 in the school gym.

--Placerita - 8:30 and 11:25 a.m. on June 14 in the COC Gym.

--Sierra Vista - 6 p.m. on June 13 in Canyon Stadium.

A promotional ceremony at Golden Oak Adult School will take place at 7 p.m. on June 7 in the multipurpose room of Placerita Junior High School.
