HARROWSTON INC. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF A NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF MARSULEX INC.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 25, 1995--HARROWSTON INC. (TSE:HRW.A) Harrowston Inc. today announced the appointment of Mr. David Gee to the position of Chief Executive Officer and President of Marsulex Inc., a subsidiary of Harrowston. Mr. Gee replaces Ross Craigie, who is retiring as Marsulex's Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since the inception of the company in 1989. Mr. Craigie will continue to serve as a director and an advisor to Marsulex.

Mr. Gee brings to Marsulex over 20 years of general management experience and was most recently chief executive officer of an industrial company. Mr. Gee will be located in Marsulex's North York headquarters. Marsulex is a provider of removal services for useable by-products.

Brent Belzberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Harrowston Inc., expressed his thanks to Mr. Craigie for his many years of service in building Marsulex. He said the appointment of David Gee is a significant step in forwarding Marsulex's strategy to provide value added services and products to a wide array of industrial customers.
