Between 2000 and 2004, Harrington, a top prospect coming out of high school, was chosen in all five drafts, but never signed , the last first-round draft pick to sign a professional contract, has signed - with the St. Paul St. Paul

Harrington, who was drafted seventh overall by Colorado, will earn $800 a month starting in May, when the Independent League season begins. Colorado maintains its rights to Harrington until 10 days before the June amateur draft.
