HARISTON CORP. ANNOUNCES JOINT VENTURE

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Hariston Corp. (NASDAQ: HRSNF) ("Hariston"), through Metanetix Corp. ("Metanetix"), a 75-percent controlled subsidiary of Hariston announces the formation of a strategic joint venture alliance and partnership with Skoda Praha a.s. ("Skoda") of the Czech Republic, Metanetix and Skoda have entered into a letter of understanding summarizing the proposed role of each partner. The final form of the business relationship will be developed over the next 30 days.
 The primary focus of the joint venture is to aggressively pursue the marketing, construction and operation of the Metanetix environmental heavy metal remediation process in the Czech Republic and other designated areas throughout Europe.
 Skoda is a major world-class engineering company involved in power generation and environmental projects in the Czech Republic and throughout the world. Skoda have executed both fossil fuel and nuclear power plants throughout the Czech Republic. They have also designed, supplied and erected in excess of 500 factory power plants. Skoda has also managed in excess of 200 completed projects in chemical, paper, food processing, and in coal mines and have also constructed facilities throughout Europe and South America. Skoda and Metanetix will form a joint venture to construct and operate the process plants at locations selected by Skoda and Metanetix will form a joint venture to construct and operate the process plants at locations selected by Skoda. The joint venture will be licensed by Metanetix to utilize the technology on an exclusive basis in the territories defined.
 Metanetix will provide the technology, capital cost for construction of the remediation plants, and supervisory personnel. Skoda will arrange for the plans and project sites, will provide engineering and construction capability, will prepare proposals and bids, and will market the joint venture services to their client base.
 Skoda has identified two initial sites, one at a major power station and an additional one at a major city sewage sludge facility. Skoda also estimates that the additional projects identified will require multiple plants to be constructed throughout the Czech Republic and in the areas controlled or operated by Skoda.
