Custom waterjet software

A customized CAD/CAM package specifically targeted for waterjet operations is said to offer operators the ability to control the waterjet stream with accuracy. Features include automatic recognition of inside and outside contours with tool path generation, nesting, remnant nesting and nesting within parts, common line cutting, feature avoidance (will not pass over a previously cut part), pre-piercing, bridge cutting and inventory control, according to the company. Mixing room automation

The PKS 500 automation system is available from the company for rubber mixing rooms. The PKS 500 was developed on the basis of long-standing experience with previous PKS versions. O-ring design

The inPHorm Version 2.0 o-ring design and material selection software on CD-ROM is said to provide a quick and easy way to design and select o-ring glands and o-rings. The inPHorm Version 2.0 is said to be extremely user-friendly and helps users determine the material selection and size of an o-ring and gland dimensions for their application. In addition to standard AS568A o-ring sizes, a new design module allows users to determine the optimum custom o-ring gland design with all required dimensions for both the o-ring and the gland for their unique application.
