HARDEE'S CROWNS NATIONAL SERVICE CHAMPION

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- College football isn't alone this time of year in determining which team is the best in the nation. Hardee's Food Systems, Inc. holds its annual Championship of Service each fall to determine which restaurant team is the best, and the winner is ... Hardee's of Amherst, Va.
The restaurant survived a rigorous evaluation process that involved unannounced visits by teams of corporate and field operations experts. More than three thousand restaurants were judged on food quality, restaurant cleanliness and service.
"Our winning this award could not have happened without teamwork and the great support we received from all of the departments at our company's home office in Rocky Mount (N.C.)," said Barry Mutispaugh, general manager of the Hardee's restaurant in Amherst. The winning restaurant is owned by franchisee Boddie-Noell Enterprises, also headquartered in Rocky Mount.
As winners of Hardee's National Championship of Service Competition, employees share in a $15,000 cash prize and recently were hosted at a victory dinner given by Hardee's Food Systems, Inc.
"Hardee's of Amherst isn't the only winner," said Joe Salacki, Senior Training consultant for Hardee's. "This competition brings out the best in our employees as they strive to prove they're the best. And the reward for our customers is superior food quality and service." Hardee's National Championship of Service Competition is now in its third year.
