HARC Invention Wins Top Honor for Innovation at Wood Products Industry Fair.

HARCwood(TM), an engineered wood product developed by researchers at the Houston Advanced Research Center The Houston Advanced Research Center, commonly referred to as HARC, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in The Woodlands, Texas dedicated to improving human and ecosystem well-being through the application of sustainability science and principles of sustainable  (HARC), was recognized with the top prize for Innovative Technology in the Wood Treatment Processing category at the 2003 Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers(R) (AWFS AWFS Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (R)) Fair held July 31 - Aug. 3 at the Anaheim convention center Anaheim Convention Center is a major convention center in Anaheim, California. HARC was one of 13 companies recognized in four categories -- innovative technology, ergonomics, productivity and safety -- at the 2003 AWFS (R)Fair Awards reception Saturday evening, Aug. 2.

The Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers(R) (AWFS(R)) is the largest national trade association in the United States representing companies that supply the home and commercial wood and furnishings industries.
