HAPPY TRAILS? PALMDALE PANEL TO CONSIDER PLAN.

PALMDALE - An update to the Parks, Recreation and Trails element of the city of Palmdale's general plan will be considered at 7 p.m. Aug. 21.

The update will cover topics discussed about the plans during a workshop held in October 2001. At that workshop, the discussion involved incorporated proposals for six new recreational facilities Noun 1. recreational facility - a public facility for recreation

 and 11 future park sites, including the east side and west side regional parks approved by Palmdale property owners through a tax measure in 2002. The workshop discussion also included designating Tejon Park off Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling  as an equestrian-themed park.
