HANYS Services, Inc., teams up with the MEDSTAT Group/Inforum to meet the strategic information needs of New York Hospitals.


NASHVILLE--(BW HealthWire)--May 12, 1997--HANYS Services, Inc., a subsidiary of the Healthcare Association of New York New York, state, United States

 State, has joined forces with The MEDSTAT MEDSTAT Medical Status  Group to establish an exclusive software distribution arrangement designed to provide New York area hospitals with PC-based planning and marketing information from The MEDSTAT Group's Inforum(TM) Products line.

The MEDSTAT Group has customized its product line for New York hospitals, initially providing them with access to its inpatient and outpatient market-forecasting capabilities and demographics information. The line will be marketed under the HANYS HANYS Healthcare Association of New York State  brand names, Cornerstone(TM) and Cornerstone+(TM). The agreement allows for additional Inforum product modules to provide enhanced network development, system sizing, community profiling, and marketing capabilities.
