HAM SURE EARNS HIS CORN.
CARL FRAMPTON got a workout yesterday from an unlikely source - world featherweight kickboxing champ Gary Hamilton, right.
The Prokick Gym man, who has an eight-bout professional boxing record (2-6), is now competing at light-welter and offered the lighter Frampton added muscle in their work-out at the Holy Family Gym.
The pair are to spar again in the build-up to Frampton's third professional outing in Derry on November 6. Hamilton is also warming up for a world title tilt in December.
Frampton's coach Gerry Storey said: "Gary gave Carl exactly the type of spar he needed. He could hit and take a hit and I am pleased with the way Carl is developing.
"I have asked Gary to come back and I am have no doubt lads will become regular sparring partners in the future."
