HALON SECURITY FASTEST AND MOST SECURE FIREWALL OF ITS CLASS.

Without doubt, Halon Security is the fastest, most secure and most functional firewall of its class. It is difficult to measure any difference in speed between traffic passing through a Halon firewall and traffic going directly via a cross-connected cable.

The administration of Halon Security can be carried out via a serial console or a web interface. The settings are divided up into three categories - network, firewall and VPN. This means that the different settings can be found easily and quickly.

With Halon Security you will also be able easily define broadband limitations controlling how much capacity the different types of traffic may utilise. There are functions for both session-based load balancing and round-robin where the number of CIDR networks is unlimited.

Load balancing is very useful for web or E-mail servers, where these often become overloaded and users experience long response times. With Halon Security, you can distribute the traffic between an infinite number of servers and thus obtain outstanding accessibility and performance. In addition, there is an advance routing function where one can work with the RIP, OSPF and DGP protocols.

Last but not least, there is also the possibility of failover so that two or more units can be connected together and perform as a single firewall. If one unit were to break down or needs to be restarted, neither the traffic nor security is affected. Incidentally, this is a function that one normally only finds in very expensive firewalls.
