Six Flags Magic Mountain Six Flags Magic Mountain is an amusement park located just west of the Valencia neighborhood of Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles. FAMILY FRIGHTS

Agoura Hills Recreation Center kicks off the Halloween season with a Murder Mystery Dinner where you can match wits with the detectives and enjoy cuisine from Luneria restaurant. The bus leaves the Recreation Center at 5:30 p.m. and returns at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23 ($81). For more information call (818) 597-7361.

Burbank Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and the Burbank Docents will sponsor the annual Halloween Haunted Hike Tours, with this year's theme being ``The Tragedy at Hang Man's Hollow,'' Live animals, face painting and other activities also will be offered, 7 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 22-23 ($5 per person).
