Morse manufactures a full line of bi-metal hand hack (jargon) hand hack - 1. (Or "hand cruft") To Translate a hot spot of a program in a HLL into assembly language by hand, as opposed to trying to coerce the compiler into generating better code. Both the term and the practice are becoming uncommon.

Blades are .025 in. thick, in. wide and 10 in. or 12 in. long, and are
available with 14 to 32 teeth per inch. The company says the blades
provide excellent edge hardness and wear resistance for fast, efficient
cutting.
