Gulfstream Aerospace Names Colin Steven Regional Vice President, Northern Europe Sales.

SAVANNAH, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 1999--

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation today announced that Colin Steven has been named regional vice president, Northern Europe sales.

Steven will report to Ernest "Ernie" Edwards, vice president, international sales and will be responsible for managing the sales function in this important growth region for the company.

"With the addition of Colin Steven, Gulfstream adds another experienced executive to the international sales team," said Edwards. "Gulfstream has a broad presence in over 50 countries and we intend to continue to grow our business worldwide."

In April, Gulfstream announced the establishment of its international sales headquarters in London. The office is led by Edwards who is responsible for the development and management of the company's international sales efforts. Edwards, reports to Joe Walker, senior vice president, sales and marketing.

"Europe is a robust large-cabin business jet market and London is a crossroad for worldwide commerce," said Walker. "Establishing our international sales headquarters in London brings us closer to our worldwide customers."

Gulfstream is the world sales leader in the long-range, large-cabin business aircraft market. In addition to aircraft, Gulfstream offers a broad range of other business transportation products and services to meet the increasing demand in Europe as well as the rest of the world.

Prior to joining Gulfstream, Steven was Cessna Aircraft's regional director for Middle East, Pakistan and Africa sales. Earlier in his career, Steven was marketing manager for a Cessna agency based in Riyadh, an aviation consultant specializing in business aircraft service, charter and management and a Cessna sales agent in Jeddah.

Steven grew up in Zimbabwe, the former Rhodesia, and graduated from the Thornhill Air Force Academy in 1972. He served with the Rhodesian Air Force for nine years.
