Guidewire Sets New Performance Standard for Insurance Claims Solutions.

Guidewire ClaimCenter successfully met a claims performance benchmark at the IBM Innovation Center in San Mateo, California San Mateo is a city in San Mateo County, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is one of the larger suburbs on the San Francisco Peninsula, located between Burlingame to the north, Foster City to the East, and Belmont to the south. , while supporting 8,500 simulated concurrent users. Median response time was 0.3 seconds and 90th-percentile response time was 2.5 seconds. In addition, horizontal scalability results prove that the solution can scale to support considerably higher user populations by using additional hardware.

In the test, ClaimCenter ran on a cluster of nine IBM System x3850 application servers, each with 4 single core processors, and a single p570 database server with 4 Dual Core processors.
