Guidance Software Announces Latest Release of Awarding-Winning `EnCase' Software; EnCase Version 3.2 Enables More Comprehensive Forensic Investigations.

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 9, 2002

Guidance Software, the world leader in forensic and enterprise digital-investigation solutions, today introduced significant enhancements to its computer-forensic software, EnCase(R). EnCase Forensic Version 3.2 provides investigators with greatly enhanced tools for data selection, acquisition and analysis.

EnCase 3.2 has enhanced Palm(TM) file access, new support for LBA48 and direct HDD access and now allows direct import of National Software Reference Library hash sets. Additionally, Escript, Guidance Software's forensic and data analysis scripting language, has new editor features and now supports the mounting of compound files.

EnCase Version 3.2 is now available. Guidance Software has an incentive program for current users that provides discounts of up to 20% for clients upgrading from versions 1 or 2. The program is available until May 15, 2002.
