 Communications Inc. announced a joint venture to produce and distribute television programming featuring agricultural news, information, and rural features to viewers throughout North and South America South America, fourth largest continent (1991 est. pop. 299,150,000), c.6,880,000 sq mi (17,819,000 sq km), the southern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  through each entity's 24-hour rural television networks, Terraviva and RFD-TV.

Programming began in September, with RFD-TV airing blocks of its most popular agricultural, bovine bovine /bo·vine/ (bo´vin) pertaining to, characteristic of, or derived from cattle.

Ag news from Brazil will be featured on RFD-TV starting in November, anchored by a half-hour "This Week in Brazil," which will be produced in English by Terraviva's extensive news organization. Both companies will also produce original programming specials from each country's major farm, stock, equine shows and conventions.
