Grubb & Ellis offering 16-acre parcel in Bethpage, Long Island.


Grubb & Ellis Company, one of the leading providers of integrated real estate services, announced that it is offering for sale, on behalf of Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. The company is the third largest defense contractor for the U.S.  Systems Corp., what may be the largest remaining parcel of vacant land in Nassau County Nassau County is the name of two counties in the United States of America:
  • Nassau County, New York
  • Nassau County, Florida
. The 16.63-acre parcel, located on Grumman Road West in Bethpage, permits Office/R&D use, is zoned Light Industrial and can be subdivided to a minimum of five-to-six acres.

"This is the largest remaining -vacant parcel of what had been a runway for military aircraft," said Dom D'Angelo, an executive managing director at Grubb & Ellis' Melville-based Long Island Office. "This tract, located off the Long Island Expressway at Exit 43, would be perfect for R&D, high-tech or office use. The nearby Northrop Grumman facilities expect further expansion in the Bethpage area."
