Grubb & Ellis completes $21M transaction at 521 Seventh Ave.

 Media, Inc. for approximately 35,000 square feet of office space at 512 Seventh Avenue.

The 15-year lease has an aggregate value of approximately $21 million, and took less than five days to close, reported Robert Emden Jacob Robert Emden (March 4 1862–October 8 1940) was a Swiss astrophysicist and meteorologist. He was born in St. Gallen, Switzerland. In 1907 he became associate professor of physics and meteorology at the Technical University of Munich.  and Elliot Klein, the Grubb & Ellis executive managing directors who negotiated the deal on behalf of WRC Media.

The transaction represents a relocation RELOCATION, Scotch law, contracts. To let again to renew a lease, is called a relocation.

 for the tenant, which will consolidate three offices - two in Manhattan and one in Mahwah, NJ - at the building. It will occupy the 21st through 23rd floors as its new headquarters, said Emden.

The Penn/Garment District, and 512 Seventh Avenue in particular, are perfect for this tenant, which will now have immediate access to Penn Station.
