Joseph R. Romano, executive vice president and district manager of Grubb & Ellis Company, has announced the firm's appointment as exclusive disposition agent by the Delaware Bankruptcy Court for two former HIP office facilities in New Jersey. The Grubb & Ellis team of Benjamin Shapiro, vice president of the Retail Service Group, Gloria Wasserman, vice president of the Office Service Group, and Matthew Schnurr, senior vice president of the Investment Service Group, will lead this endeavor.

The two medical office buildings being sold by Grubb & Ellis include a 46,039 square-foot facility located at 57 Route 1 South in New Brunswick, NJ. The building includes a 32,778 square-foot treatment area as well as 13,811 square feet of administrative space. This building is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art medical facility and can be built out to meet a user's particular requirements. A total of 296 parking spaces are available.

Also, a 30,000 square-foot building is being sold at 312 Pierson Street in Edison, NJ. Offering a 20,000 square-foot treatment area and 10,000 square feet of administrative space, this facility features 121 parking spaces and is also fully equipped for medical usage.

"The HIP facilities represent one of the only opportunities in the marketplace to acquired sizable medical facilities in Central New Jersey," Shapiro said. The properties are being sold individually and are being marketed to medical users and investment groups throughout the tristate region.
